Is this WhatsApp forward a scam or real — how to check?
Millions of WhatsApp forwards get shared every day — a lottery-win message, a bank KYC-block warning, or a "win a free iPhone" offer. Most are fake, but checking each one by hand is hard. This tool runs every forward through a 10-pattern rule engine first (instant, free), and if the message is ambiguous, follows up with real-time analysis from Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.1).

How the safety score works
Every check returns a Safety Score (0-100, higher is safer), a risk level (Safe / Low / Medium / High / Critical), the likely scam type, red flags found in the text, and a one-line "what to do next" — plus whether the result came from the free rule engine or a Workers AI call. Identical forwards are cached for 30 days, so a popular scam text you paste won't cost an AI call the second time.

Is this tool free?
Yes — 8 free text checks per day, no login required. Safety Pro (₹99/year) removes the daily limit entirely.
Do I need to log in to use this?
No — text checks work fully anonymously, up to 8 per day; signing in doesn't unlock more (only Pro does). Screenshot checks still need an account, since reading text out of an image costs roughly double the AI processing of a text check.
Does the AI read my message?
Yes, ambiguous messages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for analysis (never OpenAI, and never client-side) — only the pasted text, nothing else about you. Obvious scams are caught by the free pattern engine without ever reaching the AI.
What should I do if it's a scam?
Don't click any link, don't share an OTP or bank details, delete the message, and report it to India's Cybercrime helpline at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
Can I check the same forward twice?
Yes — cached results return instantly and still count toward your daily quota, but never cost an AI call.
Is my message stored?
The message text and result are cached by a hash (not linked to you) so repeat forwards check instantly. Your check history is stored only in your own browser's local storage.
Can I check a screenshot instead of typing the text?
Yes — once logged in, paste (Ctrl/Cmd+V) or upload a screenshot and Cloudflare Workers AI reads the text out of the image before running the same scam check. Screenshot checks need login (1 free per day) since each one costs an extra AI call; the image itself is never stored, only the extracted text.
