What is Split PDF?
Split PDF pulls specific pages out of a larger PDF — a chapter from a report, a signed page from a contract, a single scanned form from a batch — without touching the rest of the document. You choose the pages, on a visual grid or by typing a range, and get back exactly what you asked for.
Why split a PDF?
A single long PDF is often the wrong shape to share: nobody wants the whole 80-page report when they only need page 12, and email attachment limits don't care that "most of it" is irrelevant. Splitting solves both — extract just the pages that matter, or break a large document into smaller, purpose-built files.

Extract vs. Split vs. Delete
Extract takes your selected pages and combines them into one new PDF — the most common case. Split instead gives each range (or each page, if you choose "one PDF per page") its own file, delivered as a ZIP. Delete does the opposite of Extract: it removes the pages you selected and keeps everything else as one PDF.

Can I extract multiple ranges?

What about password-protected PDFs?
Split PDF cannot open a password-protected file — it will tell you to unlock it first rather than attempting to bypass the password.
Will quality reduce?
No — pages are copied exactly as they are in the source file, with no re-encoding, so text, images and formatting stay pixel-identical. Only the thumbnail previews are compressed; the pages you download are not.
