Yes — detection supports up to 10 people per photo. For very large or dense crowds, accuracy drops, so the brush tool is available as a manual fallback for anyone the auto-detector misses.
Will the background be restored?
Quick Remove fills the removed area using the surrounding pixels, which works best on simple backgrounds like sky, walls, sand, or grass. AI Inpaint (Pro path) uses a diffusion model for more complex, detailed backgrounds.
Is it free and private?
Quick Remove is completely free and 100% private — your photo is never uploaded, all processing happens in your browser using TensorFlow.js and canvas. AI Inpaint is optional and sends the image to a Cloudflare Workers AI endpoint only if you choose that method.
